Day 47 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Thinking of You Thanksgiving Cards

Here are some Thanksgiving cards I made using svg files from SVG Cuts. These were really fun cards to make!  For the wording on both the front and inside of the cards, I used gold embossing powder and heat gun.  Then inked the edges of the pumpkins with brown ink.  For the finishing touch, I added twine bows and buttons to each pumpkin.

Below is a close up of one of the cards.
And here is the inside of the card...

Day 46 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Pilgrim Candy Bar Wrappers

I came across some printable candy bar wrappers similar to these and thought I would paper piece some instead.   So, I used colored cardstock, Peachy Keen Face stamps, White paint marker,  and added small black bows to each little pilgrim.  They cover a normal sized Hershey Candy bar. SWEEET! ;)

Day 45 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Fall Lanterns

I made these lovely Fall lanterns for my Mom using my cricut and SCAL 2.  The lantern svg file came from SVG Cuts Crisp Days of Fall SVG File Collection.  I attached bronze colored wire for the handles.  And completed the lanterns by adding a battery operated candle inside each lantern.

Day 43 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - A Mickey & Minnie Thanksgiving

For those of you with kiddos that like Mickey & Minnie... Check out Disney's Thanksgiving printables HERE!  I printed out the Thanksgiving Planner and made the Mickey & Minnie candy boxes. The candy boxes print out small so you might want to enlarge them before printing especially if a child will be putting them together.  I recommend using Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive to glue the tabs together.

Day 41 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Fall Wreath

I thought I would try my hand at a burlap wreath.  It is much easier than it looks.  Starting out was a bit tricky, but once you get the hang of it all, it goes much quicker.  I used a tutorial HERE at Craftaholics Anonymous.  I think I did a pretty good job on my first burlap wreath. Oh, and yes I did plan the bow to be off to the side a tad, I didn't want it centered on top or bottom.

Day 40 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Cousins Layout

I'm really slacking and haven't been getting much FALL crafting done, yet.  For today's blog challenge post, I thought I'd share a 12 x 12 scrapbook layout I made of some of my cousins.  Cousins are usually some of the first friends you have as children.  No one will ever understand your crazy family like your cousins do.  :) This picture was obviously taken ages ago... at my Aunt Shirley's house one Easter weekend.  I miss those days!

Day 39 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - JEEP Card

My Dad's Birthday is just around the corner on Thurs., so I plan on making his card tomorrow.  In the meantime, I'd like to share this card I made for him last summer. Both of my parents love their Jeep! Some of the pieces on this card were a bit difficult to cut due to their teeny tiny size.  But it came out great!

Day 38 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Itty Bitty Mini Album Swap

Here is the last of the Halloween projects!

Unlike, all the other projects, I did not
create this one.  This is an Itty Bitty Mini
Album that Betty from Mini Album Scraps group
made for me. We both participated in the swap last
month.  She received my album (that I posted pics of
earlier last month) and I received her lovely album.
I was hoping to be able to add her blog addy here so
you could swing by and send her some blog love but
I can't get back into the Mini Album Scraps group bc
they recently switched it over to a membership site.
I refuse to pay for a scrapbook group when there are
so many online for free of charge.  So unfortunately, I
couldn't find Betty's last name or blog address to give
her proper credit.  But I really appreciate the lovely
Halloween album she created and really enjoyed
my time at Mini Album Scraps.ning participating
in several Itty Bitty Mini Album swaps.

Day 36 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Jack-o-Lantern Card

Here is a 3d Halloween card I made using an svg file from the Fright Night collection at SVG Cuts.  This card folds flat to fit in the envelope.  If you haven't tried any of SVG Cuts files before, I highly recommend you do. Mary & Leo help make paper crafting super fun and easy with their awesome files.

Day 32 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Lighted Jack-o-lantern Bucket

This jack-o-lantern bucket I made
from paper is the same size as
 the large plastic Jack-o-lantern
 buckets that kids use to
trick-or-treat. I lit it up using
 battery powered mini candles.

The svg file came from the
Fright Night collection at SVG Cuts.

The paper is from DCWV and has an

embossed glittery texture to it.

Day 30 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - KC Royals Baseball Card & Hat

Way to go Royals!!
You may not have won this season,
but there is always next season!
I hate to admit it, but I never really
watched much baseball before...
actually have been to only one
Royals game in the past.  This season
has really sparked my interest, though.
So the Royals have gained a new fan
and I'm sure many many more after this
World Series!  Thank you Royals for the
EXCITING season!

Even my little Olly is a fan!
The hat pattern came from
deviantART
.  John converted it
into an SVG File for me and created
the KC svg.  I added a small white brad
to the top of hat to help hold it all together.

And here is a Royals Card I made using
the Take Me Out To the Ball Game svg
file from PPBNDesigns.

Day 29 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Spider Web Boo Rosettes

For today, I decided to do 2 days in one...
Since the Royals were so close in winning
the World Series last night, I just had to
make a Royals card and I'll also post
my next Halloween project... a banner.

First up, the Halloween Banner.
The web rosettes are made with an svg file
from SVG Cuts.  Then I also used my Cricut
to cut the BOO letters.  I doubled up on the
letters, pop dotting them to stand out more.
I also hot glued a plastic spider to the "B"

Here is a close up of spider web rosette.

Day 27 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Twix or Treat Boo Pails

Here are Halloween Twix or Treat Boo Pails
that I made for our friends.  Inside the
ghosts, there are SUGAR FREE chocolate
for the girls and the husbands get the
pail of Twix and other mini candy bars.

The ghost svg file came from
My Scrap Chick
and the Twix or Treat tag came from
My Computer Is My Canvas.

The orange pails came from the
Target Dollar Spot.  I filled each bucket with
mini Twix bars and other mini candy bars.

Day 26 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Jack-o-lanterns with Hats

First of all, thanks to my friends and family
for all the Birthday wishes!  Had a great day!
Was finally lifted off the soft food diet
restriction today... so hubby and I went out
for BBQ for lunch today!  It was super yummy!

Today's post, are cute little Jack-o-lanterns
I made from the Haunted Forest SVG Kit
at SVG Cuts. I placed a tea light candle
inside each Jack-o-lantern.  I love how
these turned out!  The hats were actually
fun to make, but can't say the same
thing for the jack-o-lanterns.
