May 2020 Pocket Letters

All this time during the Stay At Home order... I've done some crafting.   I even started on a couple of 12x12 layouts.  I should be able to finish them as soon as the pics are printed.

I have also participated in some pocket letter swaps lately.  Those are always fun to make.  Here are some that I have recently made.

Pocket Letter created for Pam P.

Pocket Letter created for Lori O.

I used a Disneyland Map to wrap Lori's pocket letter in.

Looking forward to the next swap!

1980s Pocket Letter

I love making pocket letters.  They are quick and easy.  Here is an 80s pocket Letter I created using cut files.  For the background, I splattered florescent tempera paint onto black poster board pieces cut at 2.5" x 3.5".

Halloween Pocket Letters

Here are a few Halloween pocket letters that I mailed out this past week. I love making cutesy Halloween themed paper crafts.

I didn't make near as many as I made last year.  But have been working on other Halloween paper crafts.  I'll post those on Monday.

Halloween Pocket Letters

I'm quite a bit behind on posting.  Been away a lot, lately. But I did get time to make many Halloween pocket letters.  I had a lot of fun making them... and what was even more fun, receiving all the awesome Halloween  pocket letters from pl pals. When I get a chance, I'll post pics of some of the awesome pocket letters I have received from others.

Still could use your prayers as my Dad fights colon cancer. He needs a total of 12 chemo treatments.  He currently has 3 more to go.  Its been rough on him at times but he's a fighter. Recovery after each treatment seems to become more difficult and rough.  Thanks for your prayers!!

And now for my Halloween pocket letters...

Shabby Chic Pocket Letters

Hi!  I wanted to share some of the pocket letters I have created recently.  It has quickly become an addiction.  I enjoy creating them as well as receiving "happy mail" from others.

Retro Pocket Letter

I have been making several pocket letters for swaps, lately.  Here is a retro looking one I made using some scraps and stickers from Crate Paper.

On a side note, all you prayer warriors out there, I have an unspoken prayer request.  My family really needs your prayers right now, please.  Thank you so much!!  Hope you all have a safe and happy 4th of July weekend.

Hello Kitty Pocket Letter

Recently, I came across a somewhat new concept in scrapbooking called Pocket Letters.  Read all about them here:

I have already made several.  Here is a Hello Kitty Pocket Letter for my dear friend and fellow KCCropper, Kitty.  She is a big fan of Hello Kitty.

Pocket Letters are a lot of fun.  I'm currently in swaps with individuals from Canada, Kansas, and two from Florida.  Its a great way to meet fellow paper crafters, too.
