Day 14 of 100 Day Blog Hop Challenge - Wedding Invitations

I realized I have not shared pictures of the invitations
I made for my brother and sister in laws wedding.
This was quite the challenge... took awhile but I got
them all done... I even had to recruit my hubby to help
finish up the last bit of them.  The wedding colors were
Red, Black, and White.  It was a beautiful wedding
and the reception was awesome... it was in a cave.
It was a super fun time.  So happy for them both!!  I not
only gained another sister, but two cool nephews as well.

(Sorry about the poor picture quality, I used my phone
to take the pics and they came out super blurry.)

The side pocket held two cards...
One that had Directions to the Church and
the reception.  The second card had "Other"
info listed on it about the reception.

Here is a close up of the card
once the two sides are open.

Day 13 of 100 Day Blog Hop - Echo Park Card

Gotta love Pinterest!
I came across a card similar to this
on Pinterest and just had to make one.

The super cute digi Images are from Echo Park's
Sweet Girl collection.
For the bird's nest,
I used brown embroidery thread and pink/white
twine for the clothes line.  I also added a pink
rhinestone to the center of the pin wheel.

Day 12 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Basket of Strawberries

For today's blog challenge, I'd like to share
a picture of my basket of strawberries.
I made these last summer, and I unfortunately
can't remember where the files came from,
I believe they may be from SVG Cuts.

I embossed the strawberries and then added buttons
and brown twine threaded through each button.

Day 10 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Princess Photo Props

Today is Day 10 of the 100 Day Blog Challenge.

Here are more pics of photo props I made
for my nephew Jory's Graduation party.

These were images I found online and my dear
sweet hubby converted them into svg files for me.
I thought about adding jewels or rhinestones to
the tiaras but thought they would just get torn up
pretty quickly, so I skipped out on doing that.

Here is a pic of my little niece having fun with a tiara.

Day 9 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Super Hero Photo Props

Here are more photo props I made for Jory's grad party.
The boys and Bailey had a blast with these
Super Hero photo props.

I found the images online and John converted them
into SVG files for me.  Once I cut them with my Cricut,
I hot glued them onto shish kabob bamboo skewers.

Day 8 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Party Photo Props

Well, I made it to day 8 of 100 Day Blog Challenge!
Today, I'm sharing some pics of props I created for my
nephew Jory's HS graduation party.  My wonderful hubby,
John, converted the images I found online into svg files
for me.  After cutting out the pieces, I used hot glue to
attach the cutouts to bamboo shish  kabob skewers.
They held up really well.

John also created the sign for me...
after drawing it up in photoshop, he printed several
pages out onto 8.5 x 11 printer paper and pieced
them together onto a poster board.  He can be
really handy to have around. Love you, John!!

The props were a huge hit with both the children & adults.

Day 7 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Monster High Card

For Day 7 of the 100 Day Blog Challenge,
I'd like to share the Monster High card
that I made for my Lil' cousin, Bailey.
John helped me with converting the Monster High
logo into an svg file.  From there, I cut the pieces
with my Cricut and pieced it together.  Super simple card!
If you would like the Monster High Card svg file,
let me know and I would be glad to send it to you.

Here is another card that I made for Bailey...
I posted it recently but thought I would
share it again today.  She likes Dr. Who,
so I thought this card would be perfect for her.
The Dr. Who clip art file set came from
Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons

Day 6 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Camping Mini Album

For today's post, I wanted to share the  camping mini album that
I made for my Mom.  I bought the kit from Archiver's but I'm not
one for following directions, so I altered it in my own way and
added a few new embellishments to it.  My parents, hubby and I,
my siblings and their spouses, and nephews all went camping
at Truman Lake in Warsaw, MO a few years ago.   I thought
those pics would be perfect for this mini album.

The first two are the front and back cover of the mini album.

Day 4 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Orange Gift Box

Yay! It's the weekend!

Today I'd like to share a project I made for a dear friend who recently turned 91 years old.  She is amazing! One of the sweetest ladies I know.

To create this box, I used the Orange Trio svg file set from My Scrap Chick.  I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the wood grain onto the box strips and for the background of the large 100% Naturally Sweet tag.  To attach the box together, not only did I use Scotch glue but I also added bronze metallic brads on each of the corners.  To make the lettering pop, I added stickles.  Then to finish off the project, I added a green and white twine bow to the orange stem and thick brown twine and a small green button to the box.  Once the stickles were completely dry, I tossed in several small oranges! She and her husband both loved it!

Day 2 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Get Well Easel Card

Good Morning!

Today is day 2 of the 100 Day blog challenge and I would
like to share a Get Well easel card that I made for an uncle
of mine who was recently in the hospital for a heart attack.

The cutting file came from the Healing Heart Trio over at My Scrap Chick.
I
used mostly solid colored cardstock except the striped background paper
and it came from DCWV.  I also took a short cut and added a real tiny
band-aid over the larger heart instead of paper piecing one together.

Day 1 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Graphic 45 Thank You Card

Good Morning!

I have decided to attempt a challenge... to post daily for the next 100 days.
For those of you wondering, yes, that would be on Christmas day!
Not sure if I am going to be able to do it, but its worth a try!
So here goes!

Today, I am posting a Thank You card I created using Graphic 45's
Secret Garden paper.  I also added some bling to the flowers
and a teeny tiny bow atop the bird cage. I decorated the inside
as well but forgot to take a pic of it before giving the card away.

Ooops!

Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Design Team Call

Good Morning!
It's been awhile since I have been on a design team, so I thought I would
try out for the Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Design team call.  Lisa
offers super cute cutting files, digi clipart, digi paper, and digi stamps.

Here are a couple of projects I have created using PPPR cutting files
and digi clipart.
Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I had a lot of fun with this particular card.  I used Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons
Silly Little Elf SVG file set to create the step card and added stickles to the
ornaments and some white flock on the Elfs hat, collar, and gloves.
My nephews love that mischievous little guy!  Its been a
family tradition at Christmas for several years now.
So, I'm sure they will love this card.

Box cards are really popular right now.  So, when I saw Lisa's
Dr. Who Digi clipart, I knew I had to create a box card
for my little cousin who loves the show.

I'm almost finished with my Halloween Ferris Wheel
(the ferris wheel from SvgCuts.com)  Just have to add
some finishing touches and I'll post pics of it tomorrow.

Don't forget to check out Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons
for some super cute cutting files and digital goodies.

80s Thank You Box Cards

First of all, I'm posting this on my phone (which is a first for me).
It's  a bit more challenging typing everything up on this little phone so please bear with me.

Wow!!  Time surely flies... Its been forever since Kitty or I have posted here.
As my favorite time of year approaches, I'll definitely be posting more of my projects.
I love Fall & Halloween.

SVG Cuts has some super cute Fall box card files that are about to be released...
Those are on my to do list, for sure.  In the meantime, here are some 80s Thank You
box cards that I created for family and friends who threw an EARLY "Surprise"
birthday party for me back in May.  My Birthday is not until October. Lol!!

Anyway, to go along with the 80s theme of the party, I chose to make some fun
rubix cube box cards.  The files are from Miss Kate's Cuttables.www.misskatecuttables.com
