April Cut Swap

I'm just getting it done under the wire, but here are my cut swap diecuts. I used Nifty Fifties, and cut the ice cream cone and the soda bottle just in time for picnic season. I only lightly embellish my cuts in an attempt to make them as versitile as possible ,but the botom soda bottle shows some further embellishment on the cut I made for myself- I also wrote in all of the details on that cut, as cutting and gluing them proved to be super tedious at 4 inches. As a general rule, I would NOT recommend cutting the soda bottle any smaller than that.

Nifty Fifties Fun!

I recently bought The Nifity Fifties cart from Custom Crops for cheap, and I had some fun with it this evening. I cut three little rockets to give away to my classes tomorrow as we are having our "Happy Birthday Space Race" party and lesson. We will have a space race trivia game at the end, and the winners will get these little rockets. What will they use them for? I'm not really sure- perhaps as bookmarks. I just enjoyed getting to make them, and I love trying to find ways to make history a little more interesting.
