Happy Birthday Kitty Cropper!

Happy Birthday to You!!!!

I would like to wish my dear friend and blog mate here
at KC Croppers, Kristie (AKA Kitty Cropper),
a Happy belated Birthday!!

We celebrated her bday by attending her sons last football
game of the season and going back to her place for some
delicious homemade potato soup and chili.  And Saturday,
we are going to a nearby antique store with Kristie, so she
can pick out her bday gift. Hope you had  a great day Kristie...
thanks for inviting us over on Tues. for the delicious food!

Below is a photo of the card that I created for
Kristie's big day!  I apologize for the poor quality
pic... I used the camera on my phone and didn't
realize the pics would look so grainy... lesson learned.

(Inside of card)

Here is the banner I created for Kristie's son...
for his "last game of the season" party.
It's hard to tell in the pic, but I embossed each football
to give it texture and strung the footballs with a shoe lace.

Halloween Party Decor Hop

Welcome
to the
"Halloween Party Decor Hop"

You should have came from Amber's blog at http://pixiperfectcreations.blogspot.com/
if not please start at the beginning over at
Shannon's blog
http://shannonleffew.blogspot.com/

Here are the halloween decorations that I have made
so far... there will be more to come in the following weeks.
I usually don't complete all my halloween decor until
the last week before Halloween.

The Jack-o-lantern face was just hand cut from black vinyl
and stuck to the pitcher.  I didn't have Orange Juice on hand
to take the pic.... so I used food coloring and water.
Going out to buy my OJ today! :)

This is a banner I made a few weeks ago...
those of you with toddlers in the home may recognize
the Bubble Guppies at Nickelodeon show for kids.

Here is a close up pic....

Here are a couple of my projects from last year...
that I thought I would share again.  I haven't had
much time to get more decor done for this year yet.
Hoping I will get the time to sit in my scraproom
and work on Halloween goodies next week!

Fall Home Decor Blog Hop - Friday, Oct. 5th

Welcome
to the
"Fall Home Decor Hop"

You should have came from Maria's blog at http://JoyfulStamper.blogspot.com
if not please start at the beginning over at
Shannon's blog http://shannonleffew.blogspot.com/

I made these lovely Fall lanterns using my cricut and SCAL 2.
The lantern svg file came from SVG Cuts
Crisp Days of Fall SVG File Collection.

I will admit, these were very tedious,
especially when using Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive.
I found that using my ATG Adhesive went much
faster and easier.  I attached a bronze colored wire
for the handle.  And completed the lanterns by adding
a battery operated candle inside each lantern.

Leave a comment below to be entered in the drawing
for a mystery prize. Sorry.... Not sure what yet...  I'm
heading to the Creating Keepsakes Convention this weekend
and I will pick up some Giveaway goodies while I am there.

Halloween Matchbook & Embellished Paper Clips Swap

Here are my Halloween matchbooks with embellished paper
clips inside that I created for a swap over at Mini Album Scraps.

I really had fun making these.  So I'm sure I will be
making more for other holidays in the near future.

Love Is Tweet

A quick little anniversary card using American Crafts paper. I love the birdies!I backed the paper with some embossing (the paper itself was embossed). I think my Cuttlebug Polka Dot folder is the most versatile embossing folder ever. I topped everything with some hearts from my Cricut and a little heart sticky gem. I've been way into sticky gems lately- I think they are my new sequins! Whats your favorite embellishment?

Halloween Mini Albums

I am currently participating in a Halloween themed Mini Album Swap.

I had to create 3 of the same mini albums.... size 4 x 4.
I used the new Authentique Halloween line of paper
and some other paper and embellishments that I had.

Here are close ups of the individual pages.
