I made a two page layout (today) that matches
the baby shower invites that we made yesterday.
I love love love the Hippo!! So CUTE!!

I thought I would write the birth
announcement info on the cloud.

Baby Shower Invites

Kitty and I have been spending the past two days
working on these baby shower invites for a dear friend.
It was a lot of work... especially knowing
that many of them will end up in the trash.
But it was fun creating them... we made 26 in all.
BTW... I absolutely HATE working with vellum and
Kitty HATES lil' birdies... now... after making so many.

Color Me Excited!

My new Prismacolor markers are in! 62 lovely colors- I'm not sure where to begin!

Prismacolor dual-tip markers, for those who don't know, are alcohol-based markers like Copic. I've wanted to try Copic markers with stamps, but the price kept me from jumping in. Then, I heard about Prismacolors- essentially the same thing, just not refillable. These start out much more reasonably, and I was able to find a great deal on Ebay-with shipping, I paid less than a dollar per marker. I hope they work as well as Copic, but even if they don't, they'll be better than my evil Sharpies!

By the way- I found out the hard way that Sharpies are not all acid free or colorfast. If, like me, you've been using Sharpies on your layouts- beware!

Monkey (Create A Critter) Card

I used DCWV paper and the Create A Critter Cricut cartridge
to create this card! Wow... that's almost a tongue twister.

My Brother's Bday Card

I have the hardest time coming up with ideas
for "Guy" cards... but I was really happy how
this one turned out! The silver background and
letters were actually more reflective than looks in the pic.
I could actually see myself in the background... almost mirror like.

Cherry Cards

I made these cute lil' cherry cards for the lovely
parents that sent gifts at the end of the school year.
