Day 1 of 100 Day Blog Challenge - Graphic 45 Thank You Card

Good Morning!

I have decided to attempt a challenge... to post daily for the next 100 days.
For those of you wondering, yes, that would be on Christmas day!
Not sure if I am going to be able to do it, but its worth a try!
So here goes!

Today, I am posting a Thank You card I created using Graphic 45's
Secret Garden paper.  I also added some bling to the flowers
and a teeny tiny bow atop the bird cage. I decorated the inside
as well but forgot to take a pic of it before giving the card away.

Ooops!

Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Design Team Call

Good Morning!
It's been awhile since I have been on a design team, so I thought I would
try out for the Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Design team call.  Lisa
offers super cute cutting files, digi clipart, digi paper, and digi stamps.

Here are a couple of projects I have created using PPPR cutting files
and digi clipart.
Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I had a lot of fun with this particular card.  I used Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons
Silly Little Elf SVG file set to create the step card and added stickles to the
ornaments and some white flock on the Elfs hat, collar, and gloves.
My nephews love that mischievous little guy!  Its been a
family tradition at Christmas for several years now.
So, I'm sure they will love this card.

Box cards are really popular right now.  So, when I saw Lisa's
Dr. Who Digi clipart, I knew I had to create a box card
for my little cousin who loves the show.

I'm almost finished with my Halloween Ferris Wheel
(the ferris wheel from SvgCuts.com)  Just have to add
some finishing touches and I'll post pics of it tomorrow.

Don't forget to check out Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons
for some super cute cutting files and digital goodies.

80s Thank You Box Cards

First of all, I'm posting this on my phone (which is a first for me).
It's  a bit more challenging typing everything up on this little phone so please bear with me.

Wow!!  Time surely flies... Its been forever since Kitty or I have posted here.
As my favorite time of year approaches, I'll definitely be posting more of my projects.
I love Fall & Halloween.

SVG Cuts has some super cute Fall box card files that are about to be released...
Those are on my to do list, for sure.  In the meantime, here are some 80s Thank You
box cards that I created for family and friends who threw an EARLY "Surprise"
birthday party for me back in May.  My Birthday is not until October. Lol!!

Anyway, to go along with the 80s theme of the party, I chose to make some fun
rubix cube box cards.  The files are from Miss Kate's Cuttables.www.misskatecuttables.com

Grandma's Deviled Eggs and more

Hi, all! Long time, no post. I've been busy busy, and so has Shell. To add to all that busy, I've started another blog, Dovecote Diaries, for my non-scrap related posts. I'll keep posting my scrap stuff here, and cross-post some things.

 Check it out!

Christmas Card Swap Blog Hop

The best way to brighten a person's day is to send them a card
and the holidays give everyone the perfect excuse to do that.
When you add talent to the mix, you have the perfect
hand made holiday card to brighten any day.

That is what this hop is about.
We have gathered some of the most talented card makers
around to bring holiday joy to each other while showing
off their talents. Some of the crafters know each other
while others have met for this first time in the
Christmas Card Swap group.

Today some of the these wonderful ladies will showing
the cards they made. We hope you will join us to
see how talented these crafters are and to get
inspiration and ideas for your own holiday cards.

Please begin your hopping at
Lorby's World (http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com)
for she has a drawing with some special holiday
bling and string to give one lucky winner.
All the details on how to get qualified are on her blog.

Now on with the cards and holiday cheer...

I made the following cards for this swap
(and another swap)....  the svg file to create
this card came from Samantha Walker Designs

Here is a close up....

After piecing the svg files together, I embossed Santa's
beard using a swirly Cuttlebug embossing folder.
Then added white flock to his hat and green and red
stickles to the holly.
This was a super easy card to create
and I think they turned out fantastic!  I will be mailing them
out to the talented crafters in my group, first thing tomorrow.

For the inside of the card, I heat embossed the sentiment.

Thank you for hopping today and
please continue on to Sandra's blog HERE!

In case you get lost along the way,
here is the complete line up for the hop.

Happy Holidays!!

A sad day!

For those who were following my Christmas Crafts & Cards...
I apologize for not posting the last week... I had a holiday
party for co-workers at my home (so that took up a lot of
my time and shortly after became sick.)  I'm feeling much
better today, health wise but am very saddened to hear
the tragic news of the shooting in CT.  My thoughts and
prayers go out to all those who are affected by this
horrible tragedy!!  Who  could do something so horrific
to such beautiful little children.  My heart
goes out to everyone in the community!

Cathy Derouche is putting together a package
with lots of cards from lots of talented card
makers and would love to send cards to the children
of the school to let them know there are a lot of people
out there thinking of them, as well as the teachers and
parents. We should all work together to spread the love.
If you are interested in participating in this, please let me
know and I can have Cathy get in contact with you
through facebook.

Day 4 of Christmas Crafts & Cards

Wow... it's hard to believe we are already 4 days
into December... this month is going to fly by.

For today's project, I created a NOEL banner.

I used a lot of glitter paper (from Michael's),
some stickles, music sheet patterned paper, cardboard,
ribbon, chipboard letters, prima flowers, and mini brads.

I just love how it turned out! What do you think?

Here is a close up pic...
