Use Green Challenge at MCCR

    

Here is today's Design Team project for
Scrapbook Friday over at My Cricut Craft Room.
   
 The theme of the day was to use green...
well I knew I needed to create some Valentine pages...
I would rarely use a lot of green on valentine pages
so I thought this would be a perfect challenge for me.

To create this 8.5 x 11 Valentine layout, I used
Create A Critter and Sans Serif font cartridges.

Be Mine Valentine Mini Album

Here is the Be Mine Valentine album I just finished.
We will be making this Pine Cone Press album in my
next Scrapbook class w/ some friends of mine
tomorrow evening. It's a Valentine coupon book
and I just love how it turned out!!

The clasp to keep the album closed is a hand tied bow.

Each page inside the album has a pocket to hold a Valentine coupon.
    

The coupons pull out of the pockets to be redeemed. ;)

Each double sided page is another pocket with a tabbed divider coupon.

Card Creating Tuesday

Hello!
Well, today is the last day of January so
Valentine's Day
is right around the corner.

   
I made this Hello Kitty Valentine card using the Hello Kitty cartridge.

Inside sentiment....  Destination: Love

  I am so glad I bought this cart when I did (a little over a yr. ago).
Now it seems to be one of those that are hard to find and when
you do, it costs a pretty penny.  I bought mine for $12.00...
and I heard the other day that they are selling from $50.00 - $65.00
on ebay now.. YIKES!!  I love my Hello Kitty cartridges!!

October Afternoon CHA Sneek Peak

Look at the OA goodies for this year's CHA! Of course, I love it. 9 to 5 and Cakewalk are a little bit of a departure for OA, with retro cute designs that are a tad more mid-mod than usual. If anyone wants to go to CHA and grab me some of these beauties, feel free (^-^)

Grandmother's 81st Birthday TODAY...
I chose to create the following Birthay layout.

I used cuts from both Birthday Bash and Simply Charmed cricut cartridges.

Panda Bear Birthday Easel Card

See below for INSIDE OF CARD...

My Mother In Law is a huge fan of Panda Bears so I created this card
for her Birthday.  I used one of Barbara Clooney's beautiful 3D Printable
Template cards.  I printed it onto heavy white cardstock, cut out all the pcs.,
 then inked the edges of all the pcs. with brown pigment ink.  I used a lot
of pop dots to create the 3d effect... then added yellow brads to the center
of the flowers and the final touch... added little pink bow to the Pandas head.

Nuts!

This is a little card I made for a friend's birthday. I used my cute forest friends stamp from The Greeting Farm, and colored it in with my Prismacolor markers. Love those markers!
