I'm a little late in sharing the last few Halloween crafty things. I'm just not ready to start working on a lot of Christmas just yet. Here is a Halloween card that I made for a friend who collects the Gorjuss Girl doll stamps. Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!
I participated in another monthly card challenge. This month's challenge was to create a Fall card. I created this quilted card by using a thin metal die from My Favorite Things and a Fall Stamp set from Close To My Heart.
Made this quick card for a friend who was about to leave for a trip to Germany. I didn't have any German scrapbook paper or embellishments so I printed images I found from online. Those of you who know me, know that I love fussy cutting. I had to make it quick so I didn't get time to emboss the red cardstock. I know it looks kinda plain. But I'm glad she liked it.
One of our swaps at the September Crop was 36" of 2 - 3 different Ribbon, Lace, or trim. I printed and fussy cut an image of a girl from a vintage pattern cover I found on Pinterest. (See pic below) Then I twist tied three different pink ribbon/trims and taped the twist tie to the back of the cutout to create the bottom of her dress. Here are the ribbon, lace, trim pieces that I swapped and recieved from my swap partners. Thanks so much to Rhonda, Christa, and Lisa!!
I'm looking forward to our groups next swap! Fun! Fun! Fun!!
I didn't make any decorations for this crop but I did make a few photo props... Thanks to hubby John for creating the cut files for me and hanging up our groovy back drop.
This past Saturday was the KC Croppers Groovy 60s Crop. Each September we have a decade themed crop... Started with 80s now down to 60s. So next year it will be the 50s! Here are the name tags I made for the 60s Crop. I purchased the peace sign necklaces from Oriental Trading. My good friend and fellow KC Cropper, Bobbie, helped repaint all the plastic peace signs bc they were such poor quality. They turned out great! I also used up a ton of little flower Brad's that I've had forever.
